Glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs

See, this is why we have a trade imbalance with China. Because they can manufacture, package, and ship a tube containing a dozen or so glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs and then sell them for $1. And because I bought them.

By the way, my mom saw the first Robin of the year out in the new-fallen snow this afternoon. By the time I got there with the camera it was gone. Oh, well.

As a member of the Little Glow In The Dark Dinosaurs Workers Federation (LGITDDWF) (Local 489) I must call attention to yet another of our manufacturing jobs that has been outsourced overseas. If this keeps up, there won't be any more little glow in the dark dinosaurs made in the Good Old US of A. It is the position of the LGITDDWF that if we can't keep our little glow in the dark dinosaur factories here, the terrorists have won.

WASH:
"Everything looks good from here..."

(He's playing with little plastic dinosaurs. He holds a Stegosaurus and a T-Rex.)

"Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land,
and we will thrive."

The dinosaurs look out over his dash/console, toward the window.

WASH: (cont'd)
(as Stegosaurus)
"We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... "This Land."

(as T-Rex)
"I think we should call it "your
grave!"

(Stegosaurus)
"Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"

(T-Rex)
"Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die!"

(Stegosaurus)
"Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!"

Dinosaurs are fun!

The following quote is taken from the pilot (Serenity part 1) of the show Firefly.

Sorry I couldn't resist!

I have a pretty large collection of little toy dinosaurs myself. Someday I will have to watch the whole "Firefly" series - or even the complete "Serenity", since I missed the first half-hour or so. But I did learn one thing from Wash: when your ship is under attack by space zombies aremed with armor-piercing spears, you get the hell OUT of your seat as soon as you land!

You really should watch all of both.

I still mourn the death of Wash. He was my favorite character. I'm gonna go cry now... :-(
