Two views of flaming pink clouds over Nanticoke at sunset (4:49 PM - 4:50 PM) on December 12, 2008.
And here I was, thinking that we had just entered a period of bleakness in between the glorious riot of color that is Autumn, with its
crisp clear skies and
brilliant leaves, and the glacial beauty of Winter, with
crystalline skies over frozen white landscapes. Now we're just dealing with a lot of denuded trees and brown, dried groundcovers. But the sunsets can still be spectacular.
