A semi-successful recovery

I've been able to recover nearly all of the e-mail that I lost in some mysterious way earlier this week. All that I'm missing now are any messages received between 11/22/2004 and 12/28/2004. Unfortunately, I believe I received quite a few messages during this period, which stretches from the week before Thanksgiving to the days after Christmas. Oh, well, it could have been much worse. From now on I will manually back up my e-mail as often as possible - not relying on the little message that says "Backing up Personal Filing Cabinets" whenever I close AOL anymore.
