One more Star Wars scene

A slight change of pace from politics and dryer maintenance: one more "deleted scene" from the Star Wars movies.

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Mygeeto. A world of glaciers and grand cities, bridges and volcanoes, falling snow mingled with volcanic ash.

Today the ash is not just from the volcanoes but from the cities: everywhere across Mygeeto cities are burning as Separatist forces seek to destroy anything that could be of value to the Republic troops trying to take back control of the planet.
Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi and his clone troops have regrouped their forces for a final push against the last separatist stronghold. The Jedi General rallies the forces and leads the charge to what could be the last battle. "Come on!" he shouts as he dashes across the bridge.

Suddenly the charging troops halt. Order 66 has been given. The Jedi who leads them is a traitor and must be destroyed.

Ki-Adi-Mundi senses that something has gone terribly wrong. He turns to face his troops' upturned weapons. Without thought, his lightsaber spins into action, moving to deflect blaster bolts before the thought to fire can be turned into action.
But even the skills of a Jedi have limits. There are too many of them for a single Jedi to defend against. One bolt finds its mark, then another, then more. Ki-Adi-Mundi falls in a fusillade of fire from his own troops. His body crumples to the surface of the bridge, and the snow and ash continues to fall.

ANAKIN!

(the snow and ash continues to fall
)

ANAKIN SKYWALKER!

(fall on the bridge
)

The young boy glances up from the snowglobe in his hand, a strange glow in his eyes. "A SOUVENIR OF MYGEETO" is stamped on the snowglobe's base in the common tongue of the Republic. It shows the delicate bridge, so popular with tourists, that spans the chasm leading to one of Mygeeto's most beautiful cities.

"
Anakin Skywalker! You come out here right now! Watto says if you don't get back to work, he'll sell your podracer for scrap!"

The dream fades, and Anakin is himself once more. "Coming, mother," he says.

He puts the snowglobe back on the shelf, next to the other bits of Galactic flotsam that he has accumulated.
And as he enters the workshop, the voice in his head counsels him. Patience, it says. Patience, and all your dreams will come true.

He knows that it won't be long until he meets the people from his dreams: the Jedi, the GunGun, and the Queen in disguise.

And then he can fulfill his destiny.
