Is Google under attack now?

Tried to view my blog through a comment notification, and I got this error message:

Google Sorry...

We're sorry...
... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

See Google Help for more information.
So is Google having a DDOS attack today? Or is this just me? I've never seen this message before.

Update, 5:56 PM: Yep, it's not just me.

Some of our favorite sights are not available for a few hours and there is wide spread panic.

Firefox was having problems last night for several people I was in touch with.

Most news outlets are treating the Facebook/Twitter DDOS attack as a joke. I look upon any DDOS attack as a serious threat, or a dress rehearsal for a future attack.

Firefox on Mac, google, gmail, reader, very sporadic.
You can load, and then not be able to do anything. neither scroll, or click on any links, or open an email. or do other activities.

This just started this last weekend, and seems to be getting progressively worse.

you can access certain things like help, but no contact email to support is provided.
